Prices on my artwork as of
February 26th 2012 are as follow and are price estimates
which may vary based upon work requested. Prices subject to change,
so email me to confirm price. Please note, I do not accept all art
request nor do I work on short deadlines. As the only artist for this
store, I will generally work on images that can be resold in my store
first and those images that interest me first. Other works are done
dependent upon my availability. You must allow lots of time for
artwork completion (minimum of two months in most cases, though I try
to finish works as soon as possible). I also do not like frequent
revisions of artwork. If you have something specific in mind, your
description must be very detailed and if possible supply supporting
images. By commissioning artwork from me, you agree that I retain the
rights to all art produced by me unless otherwise specified. You
agree that you may not reproduce, post, reprint nor distribute my
artwork by any means. This includes posting for resale, re-printing,
posting online by any means. My artwork may not be altered, modified,
nor used for an unauthorized purpose. I may cancel a project at any
time, payments are final, and I can not be held liable for artwork
not meeting any criteria nor deadline. You are responsible for
payment even if the work of art does not meet your specifications or
does not meet your standards for the image. This fee may be waived if
I determine that I was unable to adequately meet your request or do
not believe that my work conforms to the specifications of the work
you ordered. A sample image will be sent for approval with watermark.
Prior to approval, you may dispute the quality or the content of the
work. Once an artwork is approved, you must make payment to receive
non watermarked image. Paypal is the preferred method of payment, but
I do accept cash, check or other payment methods. Contact to confirm
payment option.
There is an extra charge for
revisions. For some mediums of artwork like originals, revisions may
not be possible. Bulk discounts are available for quantity purchases.
There is some natural variance in the look and quality of every work.
If you are in no rush for a particular item and don‘t require
it to have a specific name or organizational affiliation, I suggest
offering your idea as a recommendation. If I like your idea, I may
draw the image for my store at no additional charge. If the work you
request particularly interest me or has marketable value, on occasion
I will waive the commission fees and do a work for free or at a
reduced price.
Most artwork can also be ordered
on mugs, mouse pads, keepsake boxes, canvas bags, stickers, pins,
puzzles, teddy bears, t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, ornaments, Flip
camcorders and more! Some images however may not be suitable for some
products nor permitted on some products. This is especially true of
adult oriented designs. Many products have different criteria as to
acceptable images. For example, US postal stamp images have a lower
tolerance for content than do T-shirts. Images that can be printed on
a T-shirt may not be permissible for a stamp. Some images simply do
not fit well with some merchandise. If you request an image for a
particular product, it may be reproduced and sold publicly for the
entire product line. If you want this product for an exclusive sale,
the price is significantly more expensive and must be specified in
your request.
Adult Oriented Artwork-
I will do some adult oriented artwork, but I do not have control of
whether or not the printer will reject such art for printing on
products or art prints. As with all orders, such images are selected
on a case by case basis. I will not do any images involving young
looking characters nor excessively violent or obscene images.
Absolutely no art with characters under age of 18 in sexual
positions. I am very open minded, so email me with your request, and
I will let you know if I can do the work or not. There are many laws
with regards to such content, so while I may not personally object to
the subject matter, I may be unable to produce it. Extra fees may
incur for some adult artwork.
Bulk orders- I do
modify prices for bulk orders or orders of multiple images. Prices
vary depending upon the type and quality of the image and the time to
complete the works of art. Prices are typically lower for orders of
multiple images unless the works must be done in a short time span.
Time for Work- The time for work
can vary greatly depending upon the type of artwork you wish to
purchase, the quality and the medium of the work.
Check my store and deviantArt for
prices of professionally printed artwork. Any artwork not appearing
as a print option may be added at request. All original works may be
resold as a print. Purchasing a original work is for the work itself
and not the rights to the work. I retain all copyrights to all my
works unless otherwise specified. All emailed sample images include
watermarks. You may not post, print, publicize, or use these image on
other products. Emailed images are solely for personal viewing. I do
not object to sharing emailed images with friends, but they must not
be published publicly.
Quick Sketches scanned and
emailed $5. Sample will be sent with a watermark and payment is made
upon approval. Once payment is received, the image without watermark
will be emailed. Image size is 6"in X 8"in, 15.24
centimeters X 20.32 or 576 pixels X 768 pixels as measured by
Window's Paint. Image will be emailed as a Jpeg, BMP, and PNG file
format. Other formats are available upon request. (Rough sketch.
Done in pencil or pen, then scanned as a black and white image or as
pencil line image.) Note: these are rough sketches done usually in
ten minutes or less. (Note: Do not have permission to re-distribute
this image for sale) Revisions are $1 per revision to the image. Add
$2 for this image to be added to a product in the store. Be sure to
specify product. Payment is done through Paypal money transfer after
notification artwork is completed. Details provided via email.
Black and White scanned
images emailed $7 . Sample will be sent with a watermark and payment
is made upon aproval. Once payment is received, the image without
watermark will be emailed. Image size is 6"in X 8"in,
15.24 centimeters X 20.32 or 576 pixels X 768 pixels as measured by
Window's Paint. Image will be emailed as a Jpeg, BMP, and PNG file
format. Other formats are available upon request. These are cleaned
images meaning they do not show erasure marks or sketch lines.

Revisions are $1 per revision to the image. Add $2 for this image to
be added to a product in the store. Be sure to specify product.

Color Digital Images emailed
$10 . Sample will be sent with a watermark and payment is made upon
approval. Once payment is received, the image without watermark will

Image will be emailed as a Jpeg, BMP, and PNG file format. Other

computer but may be done by other means such as copic marker or

Digital images of higher
quality are priced the same as printed artwork. You may print
digital works on your personal computer for your private use only
but may not sell or redistribute prints. Only prints done by
me are signed and numbered.
Printed Artwork
You may order a artwork to be
printed and mailed. All mailed prints are printed on quality 8.5”
x 11” in paper (photo paper or card stock) and are signed and
numbered. These images are the same as above but numbered and printed
to be mailed. Frames vary in color and quality. Please note: The
glass in the frames have a high occurrence of breaking in shipping
and so all orders of framed prints are insured. Please be careful
when opening delivery. While we try to ship all artwork in well
padded mailers, I may not be held liable for any injuries resulting
from broken glass that may occur during shipping.

estimates for such commissioned works. Please email for precise
prices, estimated time, and availability. Type of traditional medium
for the artwork and the art surface (paper or canvas) may vary. If
specify medium used, additional charges may incur. Traditional
mediums include copic markers, watercolor, acrylic, color pencil,
pencil, pen and ink, oil, pastels. The following prices do not
include framing or matting of artwork. Matting and framing may be
available at extra charge. Canvas and paper sizes may vary. Price
estimates based on 8.5” in x 11”in paper. Traditional
originals are priced higher than digital copy prints.

Acrylic artwork done on heavy weight paper, illustration
board or canvas must be estimated depending upon topic. Generally
priced $5 to $10 more than comparable watercolor painting.
Pastel & color pencil artwork prices vary and are
normally $10 more than a comparable watercolor painting.
Oil paintings are currently limited to one customer per year
and I do not make oil paintings with deadlines. Oil painting is
done currently only in the summer months. Price estimates via

Purchasing the rights to an
Artwork
There are several variants of
licenses regarding right to a work of art. I currently only permit
either retaining full rights to the work or selling the full rights
to a work of art. Normally, unless otherwise specified, I always
retain full rights to any work of art I produce. By doing this, I
can monitor and control how my artwork is used, how many copies of
a particular work of art is made, and the manner in which an
artwork is used. There are several reasons why an artist retains
the rights to a work of art. If an artist were to charge for the
actual time involved in creating a single work of art, even by
minimum wage standards, the work would have to sell for a price too
high for most people to afford. By selling copies of a work, the
full value of the work is spread across a lifetime of sales. When
one buys the rights to a work of art, that individual is
essentially purchasing the combined entire future potential value
of a work of art, all its potential earnings and potential revenue.
Buying the rights to a work also creates legal issues for the
creator of the work who can now no longer reproduce elements of the
artwork whose rights have been sold. Therefore, typically I only
sell rights to a work of art on rare occasions when the commission
is both significant and the commissioned work is such that it is
likely to increase sales of the works for which I retain copyright.

contact me via email to discuss this. Should I sell an images
rights, you will receive a very high resolution graphic file either
on disc or via email, a printed copy of the image, and a contract
outlining in detail the rights for which you are purchasing. The
minimum price for rights to a work of art is $300.
Special Vendor Pricing
Typically
once or twice a year I will do special shows and events as a vendor.
At these events, my artwork is typically reduced in price. Find out
